Tax Clerk, Tax Associate

Role Overview

• At Vantoya, you will work as a Tax Professional closely with our clients.
• You’ll be given responsibility to the extent that suits you, and a team that supports you.
• Specifically: you prepare financial accounting records, annual financial statements, and both corporate and personal tax returns.
• You are the primary point of contact for our clients.
• You coordinate interactions with tax authorities and tax advisors.
• As you gain experience, you will identify and assess increasingly complex tax matters and develop tax-strategic approaches for our clients.
• Beyond your daily tasks, you’ll be part of our development as a modern tax-tech company and contribute to exciting projects in digitization, processes, people & skills, and organization.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte) or hold a relevant degree;
• Further qualifications (e.g., Steuerfachwirt) are a plus
• You have initial or several years of professional experience in tax advisory within a firm environment (Junior, Regular, or Senior — we will determine level together)
• You are familiar with national tax law (international tax law is a plus)
• You are confident using DATEV
• You are interested in technology, digitization, and innovation in tax advisory
• You work in a structured and reliable manner
• You are eager to develop professionally and take on responsibility
• You communicate clearly and enjoy interacting with clients
• You are a team player
• You care about quality but are pragmatic and hands-on.
