Lead and grow the Fulfillment Pod – hiring, mentoring, and setting the technical bar
Own the architecture and delivery of core fulfillment systems
Balance hands-on coding with technical leadership – you're still in the codebase
Partner with Product and Design to turn roadmap into shipped, scalable features
Drive performance, scalability, and reliability across the pod's services
Bring AI into the workflow – automating what can be automated, freeing the team to focus on what matters
Run the team's rituals: planning, reviews, retros – keep them lean and useful

5-7 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with some in a leadership or mentoring capacity
Strong knowledge of backend systems (PHP, NodeJS, or Python); our stack uses all three
Solid grasp of system design, clean architecture, and the trade-offs that come with scale
Experience leading, mentoring, or growing engineers — technically and personally
Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
A problem-solver mindset: logical, curious, and allergic to over-engineering
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
