Role Overview
- Define sensor architecture for laptop platforms
- Translate UX and platform requirements into sensor specifications
- Architect always-on, ultra-low-power sensing pipelines
- Define sensor placement and optical/mechanical constraints with ID and ME teams
- Lead sensor fusion strategies
- Drive interface and integration decisions
- Define calibration, factory trim, and field compensation strategies
- Support bring-up, debug, validation, and mass production
- Work with silicon vendors and ODM/OEM partners
- Influence future laptop sensing roadmap and feature planning
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in sensor design and tools, software packages, architecture of system hardware, or a related field.
