About this role
Role Overview
Overall responsibility for HR at two locations (North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria)
Advise and support senior management, leaders and employees on all HR-related matters
Design and implement efficient processes and a culture of appreciation
Responsibility for all operational and strategic HR processes across the employee lifecycle
Plan and implement personnel measures, including restructurings and employment law matters
Manage workforce planning based on the company strategy and business plan
Further develop recruiting, employer branding and onboarding processes
Analyze training and development needs and design and implement personnel development measures
Responsibility for compensation and benefits and participation in related projects
Provide functional and disciplinary leadership of the HR team
Work closely and confidentially with the works council, unions and external institutions
Ensure compliance with labor law, collective bargaining agreements and internal policies
Lead and contribute to local and international HR projects
Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a comparable HR qualification
At least 5 years' professional experience in HR, ideally with initial leadership experience or demonstrated professional progression
Strong knowledge of labor law and practical experience collaborating with employee representative bodies (e.g., works council)
Experience in project management and in supporting and implementing transformation processes
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to make well-founded decisions promptly and independently
Positive, solution-oriented mindset ("can-do attitude")
Willingness to travel regularly within Germany (approx. 25%)
High degree of personal responsibility and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
