Role Overview
- Serve as the primary on-site representative to the ABB end customer/user and other ABB field personnel
- Preserve ABB’s Safety Culture on every aspect and as first priority
- Occasionally have additional team leader administrative responsibilities
- Assist customer with spare parts ordering, issues resolution, and provisioning
- Perform collateral duties as assigned to meet business needs as they relate to EHS, Quality, Integrity, etc.
- Perform duties in Power Delivery, Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear/MCCs, Protective Relays, Transformers, Control Systems, etc.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in a support or field engineering position
- Experience with Mid-Voltage Switchgear, Low-Voltage Switchgear
- Experience with Motor Control Center, Transformers
- Experience with Test & Maintenance
- Familiarity with Automatic Transfer Switches, Wiring Diagrams, Blueprints & Schematics
- Relay Testing & installation (preferred)
- Experience with PLC’s & DCS (preferred)
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to travel 60–80% of the time across TX, LA, MO, OK, AR, KS, AL, MS, and TN
