Content Editor, Proofreader

Role Overview

• Edit project reports for accuracy in consistency/relevance of content, spelling, language usage, grammar, etc.
• Projects could be from any industry.
• For projects having audio recording, you will have to listen to the audio and fill the report accordingly.
• Report inconsistencies/contradictions in report content.
• Report/communicate specific editing problems to the project teams.
• Coordinate with Operations Team on client change requests.
• Adhere to the timelines and completion of reports.
• Other editing assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate with min. 1+ yrs. experience in proofreading/content editing from any industry.
• Ability to demonstrate responsible, ethical and honest behaviour.
• Ability to deliver the required standards under pressure.
• Good communicator, communicate effectively and openly.
• Provides constructive feedback.
• Ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
• Ability to deal with monotony.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
• Have an eye for detail.
• A strong command of the English language.
