Participate in and supervise multiple and challenging tax consulting engagements
Contribute to the delivery of innovative tax compliance support for diverse clients
Lead large and medium-sized engagements
Plan and organize teams for tax return preparation
Conduct and document tax research; advise on planning opportunities and compliance issues
Review work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness
Become part of tax engagement team servicing planning and compliance needs of clients
Work closely with team on tax technical interpretation work for clients
Establish client relationships and understand their business
Develop technical skills by staying updated on trends, tax authority decisions
Identify opportunities for tax planning and other special services
Support development and coaching of tax professionals and junior staff
Participate in attaining team objectives

Professional accounting designation (CPA) or law degree
Completed the In-Depth Tax Course (or equivalent)
Minimum of 7 years Canadian Corporate tax experience
Ability to research and write utilizing electronic tax tools
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Previous experience dealing with clients within the financial services sector is strongly preferred
Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated and driven team player
