Audit and cleanse people data in BambooHR, including employment records, job and org structures, compensation data, and performance history.
Identify and resolve gaps, duplicates, and legacy data issues before they impact the migration.
Map source fields to the SuccessFactors Employee Central data model and document every mapping decision, transformation rule, and exception.
Build and populate migration templates and import files.
Run mock loads, resolve issues, and re-run until the data load is clean.
Design and run validation and reconciliation checks, including record counts, field-level comparisons, and spot audits, during the parallel-run period before we switch off the old system.
Recommend which historical data should be migrated and what should be archived, including performance cycles from BambooHR and engagement survey history from Culture Amp, while balancing business needs, implementation effort, and GDPR data minimisation.
Prepare test data and support UAT for each go-live wave.
Partner with the P&C team to verify migrated data.
Handle personal data appropriately throughout the migration, including access controls, secure transfers, retention decisions, and the archiving of legacy systems.
Document your work to support ongoing data quality and enable the P&C Operations team to maintain the system after implementation.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in an HR data, HRIS, or people analytics role.
Hands-on experience supporting at least one HRIS data migration.
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is strongly preferred.
Experience with BambooHR or Culture Amp is a plus.
Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciling large datasets.
Experience with SQL or Python is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and experience identifying and resolving data quality issues across large employee datasets.
Working knowledge of GDPR as it applies to employee data, including data retention and minimisation during data migration projects.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to fixed implementation timelines.
