Role Overview
- Mechanical design and verification activities in R&D projects
- Work in all the product development phases – from early prototyping to the production ready solutions
- Ensure that the design meets technical requirements, standards and regulations
- Ensure that the solution is manufacturable and cost optimized
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of products, working methods, tools and quality practices together with the team.
Requirements
- Relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- Few years of experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency in CAD SWs
- Experience in product data management system(s)
- Knowledge about different manufacturing technologies: Machining, MIM, Injection molding etc.
- Experience with mechanics design verification/testing activities
- Experience with product development processes
- Technical documentation skills
- Hands-on prototyping skills are considered an advantage
- Knowing locking industry standards and regulations is considered an advantage
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English both written and oral.
