Role Overview
- Evaluate and treat impairments including speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
- Provide patient-centered care in the Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas
- Work one-on-one with patients, building their skills in their own homes and communities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans
- Incorporate a variety of activities to address functional goals
Requirements
- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in treatment of neurologically related disorders preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
