Role Overview
- Independently handle day-to-day financial accounting
- Preparation of payroll and payslips
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Posting of routine business transactions
- Reconciliation of accounts and resolution of open items
- Communication with clients, tax offices and authorities
- Support with tax analyses and reporting
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree with a focus on accounting or taxation
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Good knowledge of German tax and VAT law
- Experience in payroll accounting
- Independent, structured and detail-oriented working style
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
