Role Overview
- Conceptualize, develop and maintain custom WordPress websites and WooCommerce online shops.
- Integrate third-party systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, payment providers and shipping partners) via APIs.
- Take responsibility for performance optimization, improving page load times and ensuring mobile responsiveness.
- Perform updates, security analyses and troubleshoot issues in production.
Requirements
- Strong experience in developing WordPress themes and plugins (PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
- WooCommerce expertise: Proven track record implementing e-commerce projects and solid knowledge of shop architectures, checkout flows and common extensions.
- Quality-focused: An eye for design and usability, with a structured and well-documented approach to work.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
