Senior Counsel

Role Overview

• Enable your business units’ strategy and operations by providing practical, solution-oriented approaches to a broad range of complex legal issues
• Be a leader and person of influence at the company
• Serve as a legal subject matter expert and strategic advisor on cross-functional projects
• Partner with specialist attorneys and other professionals
• Manage commercial and other disputes, including litigations
• Using Danaher Business System tools, help the legal and compliance team identify, design and implement continuous process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 6+ years of experience with complex commercial and corporate transactions
• 3+ years of experience in a large law firm transactional practice
• Excellent writing and contract drafting skills
• Excellent communication skills
