Role Overview
- Overseeing and coordinating all engineering activities related to maintenance, repair, and airworthiness within Powerplant Engineering
- Providing Powerplant Engineering advice and support to all key areas of the airline
- Providing engine shop visit oversight, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
- Overseeing fleet reliability and monitoring fleet technical performance
- Performing Powerplant defect analysis, including monitoring and investigation of repetitive defects
- Managing technical publications and communications with OEMs for safe aircraft return to service
Requirements
- Degree in relevant Engineering subject or equivalent industry experience
- Thorough understanding of airworthiness regulations (EASA) and demonstrated experience in compliance management
- Specific experience with either CFM56/LEAP (A321) or Trent 7000 (A330) engine types
- Experience in Supplier and Contract Management
- Experience with AMOS or similar Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Experience with aircraft maintenance programmes, reliability and engine condition monitoring
- Experience of successfully managing complex engineering projects relevant to your field of responsibility
- Computer & IT literate
