Support Information Security Risk Assessments: Assist in performing risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and suggesting appropriate risk treatments. You'll help in preparing status and risk reports for the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Contribute to Security Incident Response: Learn about and support the documentation and distribution of security incident responses and escalation procedures.
Monitor and Analyze Security Alerts: Work alongside the team to monitor and analyze security alerts, helping to identify issues and instructing relevant teams on how to resolve them.
Assist with Compliance Monitoring: Support continuous control of compliance, ensuring that information security standards are met and helping to steer efforts when compliance gaps are identified.
Participate in Audits: Gain exposure to internal and external audits by contributing to the preparation and execution phases.
Promote Security Awareness: Help implement and support awareness programs for information security within the organization, acting as a point of contact for security policies and procedures.
Continuous Learning and Development: Actively learn and improve your knowledge in information security, keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field at an accredited institution.
Strong academic record, with a demonstrated interest in information security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
A proactive attitude, eager to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with or a strong desire to learn about control frameworks like PCIDSS and ISO/IEC 27001/27002.
