Provide contract management support throughout the contract lifecycle
Draft, review, negotiate flow-downs, interpretation and administration of contractual documents
Identify and mitigate risks associated with non-standard terms and conditions while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, internal company procedures, and applicable laws
Report directly to Assistant General Counsel
Contribute to Honeywell’s Integrated Supply Chain contracting operations by supporting the contract formation process
Advise internal stakeholders on contractual requirements
Help drive continuous improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract management processes
Requirements
5+ years of experience managing/negotiating contracts
Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms and conditions
Superior communications skills (both oral and written); ability to function as member of virtual team
Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or other related field
Ability to analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions
Integrity and strong focus on compliance with internal standards and policies
Sound business judgment, strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple tasks within time constraints
Demonstrated ability to influence and deal tactfully and confidentially with internal and external customers in a dynamic environment
Government or commercial contracting or procurement experience including intellectual property, export control, and uniform commercial code requirements preferred
Working knowledge of procurement contract administration including legal, procurement, accounting requirements, international contracting laws, and negotiations desirable
