Support capital markets transactions, review and analyze documentation for SEC-registered and 144A/Reg S offerings
Advise on securities laws and broker dealer regulations
Support bank lending transactions, review documentation for secured and unsecured transactions
Answer legal and regulatory questions and provide day-to-day support to the BBVA Group
Represent the Legal Department in meetings with senior management and external stakeholders
Advise on all legal matters relevant to US CIB operations

At least 5 years of experience at a top law firm
Significant experience negotiating both capital markets and bank finance documentation
In-depth knowledge of securities laws and broker dealer regulations
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
A Juris Doctor from a top 100 law school
An active license to practice law in the State of New York
