Evaluate and analyze departmental Business and Administrative program and data
Coordinate activities to ensure compliance with WU internal control guidelines
Manage all budgetary and purchasing functions for department; review/approve expenses
Manage the business service documentation, recordkeeping, procedures and processes for the division of department
Coordinate with Human Resources, Financial Planning, Accounting Services, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Sponsored Projects Accounting to ensure compliance with the University guidelines
Review reports, database and records of activities to accomplish fiscal program objectives and timelines
Make program recommendations and decisions and communicate to the departmental management team
Assist in the development, planning and implementation of assigned departmental policies and procedures
Advise management and staff of WU policies and procedures, provide direction and assist with questions
Monitor departmental operational expenditures in accordance with WU guidelines
Prepare the departmental budget
Prepare and run reports for departmental fiscal activities
May supervise staff
Assist the business office with physician onboarding, program development, and oversight
Conduct site visits to maintain relationships, business presence, and promote strategy
Facilitate the interview process with provider candidates, working alongside the Executive Vice Chair of WashU Neurology, admin coordinator, business operations leadership, and business partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
Financial (2 Years) experience
Administrative Management (2 Years) experience
Human Resources (2 Years) experience
No specific certification/professional license is required for this position
