Role Overview
- Complete detailed construction document sets in AutoCAD
- Provide elevations and built-in details for Model Homes
- Assist with conceptual design, material selections, and furniture specifications
- Coordinating projects with consultants, engineers, and field associates
- Attend Model Home frame walks and installations as required
- Stay abreast of current building codes and ADA requirements; attend industry trade shows
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Residential Drafting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn additional program add-ons for AutoCAD
- Knowledge of current Building and ADA codes preferred
- Must possess initiative and be highly motivated
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude
- Strong work ethic, good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Coping well under pressure and accepting constructive feedback
- Moderate Regional travel may be required
