Role Overview
- Responsible for day-to-day operations related to reviewing denials and drafting appeals
- Provides daily operational support to the Nurse Denial Specialists
- Facilitates communication between teams
- Manages denial workflow throughout the team
- Participates in Human Resource activities that will evaluate and enhance the knowledge and skill set of the Denials/Audit Nurses
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Experience in Hospital Operations, Denial Management, Case Management, Utilization Review, and/or prior clinical experience preferred.
