Record, clip and catalog media segments for rapid response needs and for long-term research projects
Research and analyze trends in local and national news as well as in raw video content
Compile video or audio-based clips for media coverage reports
Additional specific research responsibilities, as directed

Strong knowledge of current events relating to Congress, the White House, the Republican Party, and upcoming campaign cycles, with the ability to keep up with the 24-hour news cycle
Basic understanding of video files and formats, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tech-based databases
Experience with media monitoring services and clipping tools strongly preferred (including but not limited to LexisNexis, SnapStream, TVEyes, and Snagit)
Ability to work independently, ask questions, remain responsive, and keep open lines of communication in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
