Take responsibility for operational finance, accounting and controlling matters across multiple companies
Support month-end and year-end closings and familiarize yourself with accounts, posting logic and financial interrelationships
Analyse P&L, balance sheet and key business metrics to derive reliable insights
Prepare analyses, forecasts and reports at company and group level to provide sound decision-making foundations
Actively contribute to the further development of processes, structures and finance workflows, and support optimisation of existing procedures
Work closely with other departments, support tax and accounting queries and participate in projects related to digitisation and reporting
Requirements
Several years of experience in finance, accounting or controlling
Good understanding of accounting, financial statements and financial interrelationships
Comfortable handling operational tasks as well as analytical issues
Ideally experience with month-end or year-end closings, qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or experience in controlling is a plus but not required
Excellent German language skills
Confident user of Excel and ideally ERP systems (e.g. Business Central)
