Role Overview
Act as the local Controllership Analyst for the Dutch entities, ensuring accounting, reporting and administrative routines are properly followed.
Monitor and follow up directly with the outsourced accounting office responsible for preparing the accounting records of the Dutch entities.
Review accounting deliverables prepared by the outsourcing provider, checking completeness, consistency and alignment with Dutch GAAP and IFRS EU requirements.
Keep the International Accounting Manager, based in Panama and acting as direct manager, informed of relevant updates, pending matters, risks and required decisions.
Prepare and review monthly reporting packages, ensuring deadlines, accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
Support preparation and registration of Cost Sharing Agreement sales invoices and follow up on approvals, postings and related documentation.
Coordinate supplier invoice processing, Fluig approval workflows and communication with internal stakeholders until completion.
Support quarterly VAT information, audit requests, supplier compliance updates and other statutory or internal control requirements.
Maintain organized physical and digital accounting files, ensuring evidence is complete and available for audits, reviews and management requests.
support country administrative activities, including office organization, supplier quotations, mail handling, supplies and local operational needs.
Work independently in a lean local structure, proactively identifying priorities, solving issues, escalating risks and proposing improvements to routines and controls.
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.
Accounting knowledge in IFRS and Dutch GAAP is required.
