Role Overview
- Design and develop AOCS/GNC subsystems for satellite missions
- Develop and verify AOCS/GNC algorithms and related software
- Perform AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation campaigns
- Build and maintain analysis and simulation tools
- Support satellite projects from early phases through customer acceptance
- Contribute to satellite proposals and system studies for AOCS/GNC topics
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design justifications
- Collaborate with international engineering teams across satellite projects
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the space industry
- Hands-on experience with AOCS/GNC subsystems and software
- Strong knowledge of estimation and control theory
- Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or comparable toolsuites
- Experience with AOCS/GNC analysis, simulation, verification, or algorithm development
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work on-site or in close collaboration with teams in Friedrichshafen
