Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites in Python for backend services and data pipelines
Perform comprehensive functional, integration, and performance testing of backend services, APIs, and data feeds
Plan, coordinate, and execute production releases, ensuring zero-downtime and high quality
Identify bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and improve QA processes by automating routine tasks and integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline
Analyze application logs, system metrics, and data anomalies to troubleshoot, isolate, and diagnose complex issues
Work closely with developers, product managers, and data engineers to clarify requirements, refine user stories, and track issues in Jira/Confluence
Assist the team in researching complex data discrepancies and data quality issues.

5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on backend testing
Strong programming skills in Python with solid experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest)
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience validating data integrity and processing across databases
Proficient in testing REST/gRPC APIs using automation tools as well as hands-on tools like curl and Postman
Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments, command-line tools, and basic shell scripting
Experience working with application logs and monitoring/metrics tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK) to diagnose system behavior
Experience leveraging AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate test generation and code analysis
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset towards quality.
