Maintenance Specialist

Role Overview

• Responsible for maintaining all plant production equipment including troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs on CNC milling machines, hydraulic presses, saws, planers, cranes and jib hoist, forklifts, welders and other metal working equipment.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repair all mechanicals, hydraulics, electrical and CNC electronics on manufacturing machinery, material handling systems, cranes, forklifts, dust collection system, and the physical plant.
• Train operators on preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a work order system.
• Layout, installation, and start-up of project work.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Understand the operation of pneumatics, hydraulics and general mechanics.
• Complete daily work orders and assignments in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED preferred
• Vocational technical training in mechanical related field is preferred
• 3 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Must be able to score the minimum required on the corporate maintenance test
• Forklift and Crane certification preferred
