Independent planning and execution of data-driven audits across the entire group using data analysis, ML and AI-powered audit tools to detect deviations from standards at an early stage and identify risks
Translating an audit assignment into a data-analytical audit investigation, including IT-based tests, to uncover irregularities, statistical outliers, and systemic anomalies across the Group, thereby replacing random sampling controls with system-based audits
Preparing unstructured raw data from large, complex datasets and processing it into robust and meaningful audit results through a structured ETL process (Extract, Transform, Load) and statistical audit procedures
Discussing findings with stakeholders and reporting them to the HIA
Collaborating on the further development of modern and innovative audit methodologies, including ML, LLM, and AI, to increase audit efficiency and the quality of audit results
Supporting the Head of Internal Audit in preparing the annual plan and the annual assessment of the risk landscape
Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders
Ad hoc Projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Business) Computer Science, Engineering or Finance
CISA certification
Knowledge of the asset management and investment fund sector
Professional experience in the fields of auditing, risk management and internal controls
Knowledge and understanding of current concepts and practices in internal audit and risk management
Broad IT skills, database knowledge and specialist expertise in the areas of cyber security and cloud computing
Professional experience in the fields of data science, machine learning and AI, as well as knowledge of data extraction and processing
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Interest in innovative audit topics
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Initiative and a strong team-oriented approach
Ability to maintain a clear overview of risk management issues that influence the organisation’s current thinking
