Supervising and coordinating construction and installation activities of HRSG’s (mechanical, structural, piping, instrumentation, and insulation)
Ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and QA/QC procedures
Supporting pre-commissioning activities, including punch list management and as-built documentation
Identifying deviations and prepare technical reports for the Site Manager and project team
Guiding subcontractors and coordinating interface activities with other disciplines (piping, electrical systems)
Managing and monitoring additional works performed on site, with the aim to minimize costs for NEM
Promoting a strong safety culture on site and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiative
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Operational Engineering or Installation Engineering
5+ years of experience during the construction phase of power plants or industrial installations
Experience in EPC or turnkey projects is a strong advantage, with construction experience preferable with Heat Recovery Steam Generators
In-depth knowledge of HRSG construction principles, welding and assembly works piping, supporting, , steel structures and insulation (external/internal)
Affinity with electrical, instrumentation, control valves and similar equipment
Solid technical insight and ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs, and 3D models
Skilled in preparing progress and inspection reports
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
Willing to work internationally for extended periods
