Role Overview
- Perform, process, and support Production Operations in various areas of the Plant
- Receive product from Press, stack, and place on pallets.
- Understand basic operation of Hugo Beck Bundling System
- Ensure correct loading of product through bundling machine
- Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy.
- Informs Operators of any problems.
- Pull Product samples according to company procedures
- Assist Operators when the press is down.
- Maintain and follow all company policies and procedures for OHSE
- Change cylinders, pump out inks, fill solvent containers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork as required including a daily lift truck inspection form.
- Report all accidents, injuries, and near misses.
Requirements
- High School diploma (or GED), one to three years related production experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have very good mechanical and physical ability.
- Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
- Ability to lift to 60 lbs is required.
- Must be able to hold, touch, feel and manipulate with hands product and equipment in a safe manner.
- Manual dexterity is required.
- Must be able to rotate shifts as required and be available to work more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs.
