Role Overview
- Lead advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and federal affairs strategies
- Liaison between Humana Military and external stakeholders
- Build strategic relationships with Military Service Organizations, Veterans Service Organizations, federal officials, and industry partners
- Advise senior leadership on military and Veterans-related policy issues
- Develop advocacy strategies and communications
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required
- Interim approval for government security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years of professional experience in government affairs, health policy, business development, and/or advocacy roles
- 5 years of experience implementing advocacy programs directly relevant to the federal government
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time and attend after hours events
