Design and implement accessible, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for OAA applications and platforms.
Create user-centered designs using Bootstrap, jQuery, and centralized CSS files.
Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate designs within the .NET Core C# and Power Platform environment.
Create additional website graphics as needed using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other graphic design tools.
Ensure all designs meet Section 508, ADA, and WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA compliance requirements.
Maintain visual consistency and design standards across the OAA application portfolio.
Support wireframing, site diagrams, and site maps in coordination with the Business Analyst.
Remediate accessibility findings in existing UI and graphic assets.
Manage assigned work within an annual level of effort not to exceed 250 hours.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. No equivalencies or substitutions for the degree requirement will be accepted.
Four (4) or more years of experience as a graphic designer focusing on user-centered design and accessibility.
Proficiency in Bootstrap, jQuery, and centralized CSS files.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Demonstrated experience designing to Section 508 / WCAG 2.0 AA standards.
Ability to work effectively on a part-time, task-based level of effort.
Must have resided continuously in the United States for the past 36 months.
