Accountant

Role Overview

• Manage and maintain clients' financial records using Xero accounting software.
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with clients to resolve financial matters and support their business growth.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and knowledge sharing.
• Support team members by sharing insights on Xero features and accounting standards.
• Contribute to improving workflows and client servicing through internal discussions and teamwork.
• Stay updated on developments in Xero software and accounting regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and value through automation and best practices.
• Consistently deliver high-quality work to uphold the firm's standards and contribute to its growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred.
• Proven experience working with Xero accounting software.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a client servicing role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
