Support the development team in configuring, maintaining, and automating CI/CD pipelines and staging/production environments.
Serve as a technical point of contact and translator between development requirements and the infrastructure team/processes.
Monitor application behavior in production and assist in diagnosing performance and infrastructure issues.
Implement and maintain business logic and data processing for systems, ensuring performance and scalability.
Configure, manage, and optimize connections to relational and non-relational databases.
Write clean code and perform continuous refactoring to improve the software architecture.
Write and run unit and integration tests to ensure new deliveries do not break existing functionality.
Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for APIs, architecture, and core infrastructure workflows used by the team.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Dailies, Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
Work closely with Product Owners (POs), Product Managers (PMs), Designers, and Front-End developers to take tasks from the board and backlog through to delivery.
Support and mentor junior developers on programming questions and basic infrastructure concepts.
Requirements
Strong experience in back-end development (Node.js, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL and NoSQL queries)
Practical knowledge of infrastructure: experience with Docker, basic experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), and cloud providers (AWS)
