Actively develop and enhance our strategic products in the TMS (Transportation Management System) area
Contribute technical expertise to product-related decisions
Advise business units and project teams on technical implementation options
Evaluate new technologies, technical concepts, and AI/GenAI solutions
Assess AI use cases
Support specialist discussions, effort estimations, and technical alignments
Serve as a subject-matter expert for new technologies and responsible AI use within the development team
Contribute to the further development of development processes, architecture standards, code quality, and guidelines for the use of AI in software development
Support knowledge sharing on web technologies, databases, software design, and AI-assisted development tools
Take on project-related and administrative tasks, and maintain tickets and documentation in Jira/Confluence
Requirements
Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for application development, a degree in computer science, or a comparable IT-related qualification
Several years of professional experience in software development
Ideally at least three years in comparable roles
Solid knowledge of C#, Angular, as well as development environments such as Visual Studio and the use of CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL or PostgreSQL
Good understanding of AI-assisted development tools and AI/LLM APIs, e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenAI
Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, or vector databases is desirable
Fluency in German (C1) and English (B2)
Structured, analytical and goal-oriented working style, as well as initiative, willingness to take responsibility, and a strong affinity for the sensible use of AI
