Role Overview
- manage urgent aircraft-related shipments from order receipt through to final delivery
- identify and secure the most effective transport solutions
- coordinate collections, export handling, customs clearance requirements, airline uplifts and final delivery
- take ownership of shipment tracking and monitoring
- proactively manage exceptions and resolve disruptions
- prepare and verify all import and export documentation
- confirm stock availability, dispatch readiness and transit plans
- maintain continuous communication with customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- experience within airfreight, freight forwarding, aerospace logistics or another time-critical logistics environment
- strong understanding of international airfreight operations, including air waybills, airline routings, express services, cargo handling and global transportation networks
- experience managing import and export shipments
- highly organised
- capable of making confident decisions under pressure
- strong problem-solving abilities
- knowledge of customs procedures, export controls, HS codes and global trade compliance requirements
- excellent communication skills
- thrive in a fast-paced operational environment
