Assist in coordinating with outside counsel on litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, and case management.
Conduct legal research and prepare analysis related to IP disputes and enforcement matters.
Help evaluate potential infringement matters and support the development of enforcement strategies.
Draft and respond to cease-and-desist letters and other pre-litigation communications.
Assist with fact gathering, witness preparation, and internal investigations related to IP disputes.
Monitor ongoing litigation matters and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.
Support dispute resolution efforts, including settlement discussions, mediations, and other pre-trial activities.
Advise business teams on intellectual property issues affecting products, marketing initiatives, and commercial activities.
Draft, review, and negotiate intellectual property-related agreements, including confidentiality agreements, license agreements, technology agreements, and other commercial contracts involving IP rights.
Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and in-house counsel to support the protection and enforcement of company IP assets.
Requirements
7+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
Top law firm experience and strong academic credentials required
In-house or corporate experience preferred but not required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in good standing in Georgia, Minnesota, or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
