Role Overview
- Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing machines for infrared optical lenses and components
- Measure dimensions using various instruments to ensure specifications
- Inspect final products to ensure quality as per customer specifications
- Enter product-related information into computer software
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months experience/training or equivalent
- CNC experience (a plus)
- Experience with measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- Finger/hand dexterity for handling small parts
