Investment Banking Associate, Public Finance – Affordable Housing

Role Overview

• Associates on the Public Finance team are strong individual contributors in the areas of analyzing, structuring, and executing transactions.
• Responsible for performing industry research and preparing pitches, management presentations, and other written materials.
• Strong working knowledge and skills in analyzing, structuring, and executing transactions with a focus on technical analysis.
• Actively participate in client planning sessions, research and analyze data, prepare and present analytical information.
• Managing and executing tasks encompassing comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analyses.
• Possess a deep understanding of the financial impact of decisions on the client’s organization.
• Partnering with sales/product team members, responsible for performing industry research, preparing pitch, management presentations, and other written materials using analytical skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required)
• 1+ years of investment banking experience (preferred)
• FINRA License S79 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
• FINRA License S63 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
• FINRA License S52 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Applies investment banking principles to structure and execute public finance transactions
• Supports clients with financial insights and recommendations
• Assists in structuring and executing municipal and infrastructure debt deals
• Understands financing mechanisms for public infrastructure projects
