Senior Internal Audit, SOX Compliance Analyst

Role Overview

• Report into the Director of Internal Audit and SOX Compliance
• Support the SOX program and conduct financial and operational audits
• Develop an understanding of the business process and assess risks through the SOX lens
• Evaluate the controls from a design and operating perspective
• Manage deficiencies from identification through to remediation
• Participate in project teams to ensure SOX compliance at implementation
• Conduct planning, scoping, and scheduling of independent, risk-based audits
• Document audit workpapers and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in public accounting and/or industry experience
• BS/BA or MS/MA in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, COSO, Auditing Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience collaborating across multiple internal departments and geographies
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results while maintaining professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and ability to challenge the status quo
