About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and manage safe designs for Energy Solutions hybrid energy systems (HES) projects
- Develop scope of works, engaging and coordinating with external multi-disciplinary engineering consultants
- Engage with suppliers and undertake tender processes for procurement
- Manage consultants and suppliers to deliver thermal power generation designs and equipment
- Assist the Project Delivery Team to resolve technical issues encountered during installation
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery and Engineering through the bid management/contract execution process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong understanding of diesel and gas generator systems
- Strong understanding of fuel parameters (heat rate, LHV/HHV, Wobbe Index, specific fuel consumption)
- Demonstrated hands-on troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis
- Experience working in cross disciplinary delivery teams
- Knowledge and experience with relevant design and engineering software (AutoCad)
- Well-developed, detail orientated organization skills and good interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills.
