Lead the quality assurance testing as defined by plant management or customer specification
Interpret organization/customer requirements related to product specifications
Lead audit quality checks and procedure compliance
Perform and monitor quality checks in all departments to ensure defects do not occur
Train operators on how to identify and prevent product defects and quality checks
Achieve SQF and HACCP certifications and train New Hires to GMPs
Troubleshoot defects and determine the correct course of action
Manage quality incident investigation process
Oversee sort activities and perform customer/internal sampling requirements
Manage quality lab testing, calibrations, and training
Develop and maintain documents and SOPs COA’s, EOM reporting, and Color Management

Manufacturing experience preferred
Excellent attendance
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of quality assurance and safety standards
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Bilingual in English/Spanish is Highly Preferred
Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Previous ERP experience preferred
Ability to use industry standard testing equipment, measuring devices and scales required
