Finishing Operator Assistant

Role Overview

• Sets up and operates straight-line gluers, inner cell, 4-corner and 6-corner gluers
• Observes automatic feeding, folding, and gluing of box blanks to detect machine malfunctions
• Inspects completed production work to detect defects
• Keeps daily time and materials usage reports
• Performs Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Assists temporary employees with understanding task assignments
• Executes production according to customers specifications
• Ensures quality control of production in all gluing aspects
• Maintains production equipment by performing minor maintenance

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical/technical aptitude
• Entry Level Computer skill
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
