Represents the Agency in litigation in various forums to include state trial and appellate courts, federal trial and appellate courts, and state and federal administrative forums.
Performs a variety of complicated legal services.
Provides legal advice and guidance on complex Agency issues.
Conducts legal research, interprets statutes, reviews regulations, rules, and operating procedures as necessary in carrying out duties and responsibilities.
Works with Agency personnel in developing legislation, reviewing proposed legislation, implementing new legislation, and reviewing existing statutes for proposing any needed legislation.
Requirements
Must have a valid Driver's License or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes.
Knowledge of principles and techniques of effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports.
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
