Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers’ recommended installation procedures and specifications.
Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing any problems, shortages and inefficiencies in job-site conditions.
Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, contractors on-site and the general public and property of all concerned.
Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment when necessary.
Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
Participate in training programs
Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
Requirements
3-5 years’ experience of direct industry, store front door installation or relevant industry experience
Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 due to job‑related responsibilities
Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain certification as required
Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring
Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
