Prepare and post period-end journals, ensuring accurate and timely recording of Supply Chain and Online costs.
Complete robust balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items promptly.
Analyse variances against budget and prior year, and help produce clear commentary on financial performance.
Support preparation of reporting packs and performance updates for management stakeholders.
Produce weekly reporting across Supply Chain costs to support timely and informed decision-making.
Accurately capture and code supplier costs and operational metrics to support reporting and analysis.
Provide ad hoc analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities across the cost base.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance and Supply Chain, supporting budgeting and forecasting activity.
Support the year-end process, including audit deliverables and liaising with auditors when required.
Help strengthen the control environment by identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting and systems.

At least 3 years’ experience in a finance role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Retail, ecommerce or supply chain experience would be advantageous.
Studying towards an accountancy qualification, or keen to continue progressing professionally.
Strong Excel and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A proactive mindset, with the confidence to challenge, improve processes and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
