Partner with cross functional team members in the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts implementation, and contract administration.
Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters by applying astute critical thinking, gathering detailed information, seeking creative contracting techniques, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
Provide strategic advice and guidance on numerous contractual rights/ obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes.
Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge.
Minimal domestic travel.
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
Experience with U.S. Government fixed price and cost type contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
Experience as a Contracts Lead and/or leading contracts negotiations with customer
Experience with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) process
