Develop, implement, and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain safety equipment inventory, perform periodic safety inspections.
Monitor hazardous waste removal vendors, and help consolidate hazardous wastes.
Conduct emergency response and hazardous material handling.
Monitor environmental compliance and maintain liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies.
Recommend corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist.
Includes ergonomic compliance-related activities.
Leader in the implementation and maintenance of the regional environmental and safety management systems to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and policies and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree
Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.
Typically requires 3 years of experience directly related to environmental, health, and safety aspects in a manufacturing or field service organisation.
Proficient in country and regional safety and environmental laws, agency requirements and enforcement methods.
Familiarity with mining and oil/petrochemical regulatory laws and consortium requirements.
Understand business metrics related to your responsibilities for use in project planning and support of goals.
Identify and cultivate relationships with important internal and external customers, representing a broad range of departments and levels.
