The Digital Developer will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying HTML5 banners, Emailers, Interactive presentations (IVAs), rich media display assets, and responsive email templates for digital marketing campaigns
Develop HTML5 banners, i.e., static, animated, expandable, etc. animated display ads, and rich media assets as per campaign requirements
Create banner variations across multiple sizes, for multiple devises and formats while maintaining consistency in design and functionality
Image optimisation for the web hosting of the banners
Ensure banners are optimized for performance, load time, and platform specifications
Implement click tags, tracking pixels, third-party tags, and ad-server requirements
Conduct testing and troubleshooting across browsers, devices, and ad platforms
Build and code responsive HTML email templates and Veeva CRM/generic email campaign assets
Ensure compatibility across major email clients including Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and mobile email applications
Follow email best practices for rendering, responsiveness, accessibility, and deliverability
Build and code responsive Interactive Presentations, using HTML, CSS, jQuery, Java Scripting for Veeva CRM, Mobile Intelligence, CLM tools
Support dynamic content implementation and personalization logic when required
Perform end-to-end QA for banners and emails before release
Validate assets against creative layouts, briefs, and technical specifications
Troubleshoot coding issues, rendering inconsistencies, and deployment errors
Maintain organized file structures, version control, and documentation for development assets
Collaborate with designers, copywriters, account teams, project managers, and production stakeholders
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in digital production, banner development, and email development
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and basic jQuery, JavaScript
Hands-on experience in developing responsive email templates, HTML Banners, Interactive Presentation for iPad using safe, best and standard coding practices
Knowledge of Digital banner ad specifications, ad-serving standards, and platform guidelines
Experience with cross-browser and cross-email-client testing
Familiarity with tools/platforms used for Production, QA and deployment in digital production workflows
Understanding of file size optimization, image compression, and performance best practices
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
