Own the testing effort for new features from requirements through production release.
Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end automated test scenarios.
Develop and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright, and perform API testing to validate REST backend integrations.
Build and maintain automated tests within GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Review business requirements to identify missing acceptance criteria, edge cases, and risks before development is complete.
Perform root cause analysis for production issues, partner with developers to resolve defects quickly, and create high-quality bug reports with clear reproduction steps and business impact.
Continuously improve automation coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and fellow QA team members throughout the development lifecycle.
Mentor junior QA engineers and champion scalable, repeatable QA processes and reusable test architecture that improve quality as the platform grows.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Software QA or SDET roles
Excellent manual and exploratory testing skills, with expert-level experience in Playwright
Strong programming experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
Experience testing REST APIs and validating backend integrations
Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD, and designing scalable automation frameworks and test architecture
Experience working with enterprise business applications
Strong understanding of Agile and CI/CD practices, with excellent debugging, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with strong communication and collaboration skills

Salary range in the US: $120,000
$150,000 with opportunity for discretionary bonus paid annually
