Role Overview
Supports financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development
Develops and maintains spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis
Prepares a variety of management presentations
Researches and resolves problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems
Provides analytical and reporting support for project and portfolio financial management by tracking budgets and forecasts, monitoring spend and producing recurring and ad hoc reports
Works closely with project managers and finance partners to maintain accurate data, investigate routine variances, and improve the timeliness and consistency of financial information
Builds and maintains spreadsheets and standard templates, prepares summaries and presentations, and supports planning and close activities under guidance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically three or more years of related experience
Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools
